Thanks to the generous Vibrant City Grant from the City of Tempe and a partnership with the beautiful Escalante Community Center, my friend and colleague Sydney Jackson and I have the opportunity to share inclusive, intergenerational dance through a series of family-oriented workshops this March and April.

Our first workshop was last Saturday, and it was beautiful to witness the focus, openness, and engagement of every member of our small yet diverse group of dancers. We were so blessed to have an incredible musician, Carly Bates, in the room, whose responsive, highly skilled musicianship created an atmosphere of play, spontaneity, and joy.

We have three more workshops coming up on March 24, April 14, and April 21st and invite kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews to bring your parents, older siblings, aunts and uncles, and grandparents for these workshops designed for you and a plus one.
